Get a couple of pancakes in him and he is ready to go!
This is Mario, the famous Nintendo plumber.
Why did I have to get up?
This is my big brother!
Buds
Ready for School.
Is that a smile on Matthew’s face?
It’s only Kindergarten.
Matthew is so serious...
Want a piece of me?
Just kiddin...
Goofballs
Finally a smile from the big guy...
Ok... If we smile can we stop taking pictures?
The Boys...

Mom making last minute additions to the wallet.

In the distance a dog was barking...
And then, after much ado, a bus appeared in the distance
And parked across the street from where all the kids were waiting...
And then...
with only...
the slightest of hesitation...
Matthew..
reached out..
grabbed the handle...
and climbed...
forth into the beginning...
of his academic career.
Hours later, whom should appear?
Matthew!
One day older, much wiser!
His response?
It was AWESOME!
Perhaps kindergarten is so special because it forms the earliest of our own memories. Today we watched Matthew as he embarked on his first day of grammar school. Kim and I did very well holding it together until he actually disappeared into the bus; beginning another chapter in his great adventure.
